AgentData vs TheirStack (2026): websites or job posts, compared

Every company using your competitors' products, and the ones that just started. TheirStack finds technologies in job posts; AgentData finds them on company websites and in DNS records, so a company is on the list because the product shows up on its site or domain, not because a job ad named it. Here is the side by side.

Key takeaways
  • A company is on an AgentData list because we saw the product on its website or in its domain records; on TheirStack, because a job post mentioned it.

  • $99 a month for 10 customer lists and 100,000 records a month on AgentData, against TheirStack credit packs from $109 for 1,000 companies to $749 for 100,000, or a subscription from $98 a month for 1,000 companies a month.
  • TheirStack is stronger on internal tools, such as programming languages and databases, and on hiring signals.

Why teams choose AgentData

On the list because the product is there

TheirStack sources its technology data from job postings, and its own documentation is candid about the limit: “A technology that is not mentioned is not a technology that is absent.” A company that uses a tool without naming it in a job ad, or is not hiring, does not show up under it.[3] We read the company’s own website and domain records, so a help desk widget or an email platform’s record counts whether or not anyone is hiring.

A flat price instead of paying per company

AgentData Pro is $99 a month for 10 customer lists and 100,000 records to download a month, and downloading a company again does not count.[6] TheirStack spends one company credit per company you reveal or export, then lets you view or export it again for 90 days, and searching uses no credits: $109 buys 1,000 and $749 buys 100,000.[1]

The new customers, every week

We flag a company as soon as we see it start using a product, on a live feed of new customers and in a weekly email on Pro. We track 4,281 technologies across 34 million company websites, with CRMs, help desks, email, payments and chat first.[5]

Proof on every row

A list is only useful if your team believes it. Every company on an AgentData list shows how we know it uses the product, and when we first and last saw it. Some tools show up in a website’s code; others only in the domain’s email and verification records, which is how we find help desks, email platforms and sign-in tools that a job ad may never mention.

Where TheirStack is stronger

TheirStack tracks 33k technologies from the analysis of 257M job postings in over 195 countries, which reaches tools that rarely show on a company’s website: programming languages, databases, ERPs.[2] It adds hiring and buying-intent signals from the text of job ads, links every technology to the job posts behind it with a confidence score, and sells credits you can buy once and keep for 12 months, with unlimited team members.[3][1] If you sell developer or data tools, or want to know who is hiring for what, it is the better fit.

Verdict

TheirStack reads the job ads. AgentData reads the company’s own website and domain records: the customers of the B2B products you sell against, with proof, and the new ones every week, for a flat $99 a month.

Which to choose

Choose AgentData if

  • you sell against B2B products companies run every day, such as help desks, CRMs, email and payments;
  • you want companies on the list whether or not they are hiring;
  • you want to reach companies as soon as they start using a product;
  • you want customer lists inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor;
  • you want a flat monthly price instead of paying per company.

Choose TheirStack if

  • the tools you care about are internal, such as languages, databases and data platforms;
  • you want hiring and buying-intent signals from job ads;
  • you would rather buy credits once and use them over a year.
