AgentData MCP server

Customer lists of B2B software inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any MCP client: every company using a technology, how and when we found it, and the companies that just started using it. It works with your AgentData account, on your plan's lists and limits.

Connect

Claude (claude.ai, Desktop and mobile)

In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Paste the address below, save, then press Connect. A page on useagentdata.com opens: if you are signed in, press Connect; otherwise log in, or paste your API key. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, then Connectors.

ChatGPT

AgentData's plugin in ChatGPT's directory moves to this address soon. It will then connect to your AgentData account the same way: press Connect, then sign in or paste your API key.

Clients that start servers from a command can run the npm package, which passes each message to the hosted server with your key:

Your API key is in your account settings. Generating a new key disconnects anything that uses the old one. Apps you connected by signing in are listed under Connected apps on the same page, where you can disconnect each one.

Tools

Tool	What it does
`find_technologies`	Find a technology by name or category: its exact name, category, how many companies use it, whether it is on your lists, and whether it is too large to be a list.
`get_customer_list`	The companies using a technology, newest first, 50 a page, each with how it was found (the website's code or its DNS records) and when it was first and last seen, plus company details. Every company, with filters, for the technologies on your lists; the first 25 for any other.
`get_new_customers`	Companies that started using a technology in the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or across all of your lists: the latest 25.
`lookup_company`	One company by domain: what it does and every technology found on it, grouped by category, with dates. With a plan, company contacts: the email format, addresses published on public pages with their verification status, and named people from the company's own site.
`add_to_lists`	Add a technology to your lists, which unlocks its full customer list. Claude asks you first.
`download_list`	Start a CSV download of a list on your lists. It shows how many companies match first, then starts when you agree. The file is emailed and listed under Downloads.
`check_usage`	Your plan, the technologies on your lists, download records left and daily limits.

Results match the website for the same plan: the same lists, filters, previews and limits. A field we could not find is left empty rather than guessed. AgentData reports new customers (starts) only.

Limits

The MCP server uses your account's plan and limits, the same as the website: the technologies on your lists, download records, and company look-ups a day (100 on an account without a plan, 1,000 on Pro, 5,000 on Business). Plans are on the pricing page.
Only downloads use records. Browsing a list counts against the daily browsing limit, and one filter combination pages up to 40 pages deep; narrow the filters, or download the list.
Technologies used by more than 500,000 companies can't be lists.
When a limit is reached, the reply says when it resets.

Troubleshooting

Claude or ChatGPT asks you to connect again: the API key was regenerated, or the app was disconnected under Connected apps. Press Connect.
“Not checked yet”: the company is queued; ask again when the reply says. Nothing is counted.
Only the first 25 companies: the technology is not on your lists, or the account has no plan. Ask to add it to your lists.
